Breakfast…the most important meal of the day! But on those busy rushed weekday mornings it’s so hard to fit in a nutritious well balanced meal around the million other things you have to do before rushing out the door. For me I’ve found one the the easiest things to have is a smoothie…packed full of nutritional goodness, and the best thing is you can put in whatever you’re in the mood for. What I often do, because I’m so time poor in the mornings, is put all of my ingredients for my smoothie in the blender the night before and have it in the fridge all ready to wazz up the next morning. Boom breakfast sorted in a flash!!
This is a quick and easy green smoothie that I made up the other day but really the possibilities of what you can have are endless!…this is just one…enjoy and have fun with it!
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 apple
- a handful of kale
- a thumb sized piece of ginger, grated
- tsp of green superfood “magic” powder
- 1 cup coconut water
Blend until smooth and deliciously delectable and best of all nutritious 🙂
